Each student at Carlton le Willows belongs to one of four houses – Ash, Birch, Cedar and Oak.

Each house contains approximately 330 pupils in mixed year groups from year 7 to year 11. Houses celebrate individual and collective success and students are given many opportunities to contribute to this through a wide range of competitions and activities where they can earn valuable house points.

We recognise good attendance and reward good character through our character points system. Attendance figures and character points are both converted to house points at the end of each term. At the end of the academic year, the house with the most points wins the coveted house champions title.
