German Exchange

Year 9 language students from Carlton le Willows have been enjoying a German exchange building links with students from Münster.
The group of 18 students have been spending time with buddies from the Pascalgymnasium grammar school, working together in school as well as spending time with their host families.
A packed schedule has also seen the group visiting the German city of Cologne, including a trip to a chocolate museum and cycling through a local nature reserve.
This is the third exchange visit with Pascalgymnasium as international links between the two schools grow. At the end of the stay the German students will be looking forward to the return visit when they will spend 10 days with Academy students and their families.
The German Exchange has been supported by a Challenge Fund grant from UK-German Connection: www.ukgermanconnection.org
The trip also featured on the Pascalgymnasium school website. http://www.pascal-gym.de/index.php/schulleben/aktuelle-beitraege/31-europaschule/969-to-be-continued
