Emily Jephson

SIXTH former Emily Jephson has collected more than 30 medals during her time as a synchronised ice skater with Nottingham Synchronised Skating Academy.

Skating since the age of seven, Emily has represented GB in various competitions over the last four years and has been a British Champion for the last five years.

With her skating team Emily (17),  has taken part in more than 40 competitions both at home and abroad, learned more than 20 routines and so far her medal count is 30 golds, four silver and two bronze.

Since joining the Skating Academy at the age of 11, Year 13 Emily has experienced victory in a number of competitions, first with her team the Rocking Robins, then with the Shadows, the NSSA’s novice team and then with the Icicles.

In recognition of her outstanding contribution to sport and PE, Emily was awarded the Kendrick Shield for Lifetime Achievement during the Academy’s Sports Personality of the Year Awards 2018.
