Governors annually agree the holiday pattern and teacher training days for the forthcoming academic year.

The Academy continues to keep a one-week autumn half term break, as this is considered more advantageous for progress and learning, especially for students in years 11 and 13, who would have otherwise lost a week of schooling in their final year. 

All other term times and holiday patterns are in line with those set by Nottinghamshire County Council.
